Now this is a real beauty. A boy and girl admiring a brightly decorated Christmas tree. Beneath the tree, awaiting a happy hug from the children, is a little itty-bity teddy bear dressed for the holidays in a big red bow. This was sold as a limited edition of 20,000 pieces that came with a real Steiff limited edition teddy wearing a red bow to match the bear in the figurine, and cuddly enough for a real hug. This lovely set is signed by master painter Ottilie Fakob.

What is important to note here is that this is the first time in history that two powerhouses in the collectibles industry, have joined teamed up to create "The Wonder of Christmas" Limited Edition Collector's Set. Goebel noted for their exquisite handcraftsmanship in ceramics and Steiff in their stuffed animals. If you haven't seen a Steiff before... they are something else. You can tell it's the real McCoy by the Mohair and the famous Steiff trademark of Button in Ear.
