Combination of various Plaques
Back           NextThen there's the Puppy Love Display Plaque, Hummel 767. That was first released in 1995. Modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fischer in 1993. It has an incised 1993 copyright date along with the TM7 mark. It also bears a special backstamp: "Special Edition 1995" in German and English. It measures 4 1/2" x 7 1/4" and cost about $350. Isn't he cute? A boy and his dog. Then there's what I am assuming is... Soldier Boy Plaque, Hummel 726 which we won as a second prize in one of the hummel signings we went to in good ole' Germany. I said assuming because I can't find him in the books. In the books the closest thing is "Hummel 726" but it's for the 50 year Anniversary "Serving the United States Military" and is a limited edition of 7500 pieces. This is 585 of 1200 and signed by Ute Hornlein. And also on the front you'll see that it is inscribed with the 50 year anniversary ...United States Air Force. Then there's also the "Little Visitor Plaque", Hummel 722, which I believe is the first plaques Goebel started issuing to visitors who visited the factory in Rodental, Germany. This has the Trademark 7, stands 4 3/4" x 5" and can be purchased at the information center for around $120. These plaques are great to have and especially makes a nice gift when you personalize it. |
