This is Pigtails that was first released in the U.S. market in 1999 as a Free gift for renewing our membership in the M.I. Hummel Club for 1999 to 2000 club year. So you see...it does pay to renew your subscription now and then.

She was modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fischer in 1998. It has an incised 1998 copyright date. It bears the inscription: "M.I. Hummel Club Membership Year 1999/2000" in addition to a black bumblebee in a half circle. It is a companion piece to Hummel 2071...the "Lucky Charmer"...Isn't that sweet? She stands a good 3 1/4" tall and is around $100.
