This one is adorable. It was first released in the fall of 1996. Modeled by master sculptor
Helmut Fischer in 1996. It has an incised 1996 copyright date along with the Trademark 7.
It has a combination "First Issue 1996" and "125th Anniversary 1871-1996 Goebel"
backstamp applied by a round blue decal on the bottom. The boy with sled is an
"interpretation" of Hummel 396..."Ride into Christmas" figurine. If you look, I'm sure you'll
see the similarities. Back in 1996 it cost $595. This one stands 6 1/2" tall.
