Merry Wanderer Plaque

Hummel 187

With all that wandering around...no wonder this little guy is so popular. Here he is representing a plaque. There seems to be an endless variety of plaques throughout the years, some for dealers and some for collectors. It was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1947 and later restyled by the now retired Gerhard Skrobek in 1962.

This one pictured here is a trademark 7. Stands 5 1/2" x 4" tall and of course signed by a masterpainter by the name of Christina Goihl. When you see him in the group picture with his "BIG BROTHER"...he really looks quite tiny.

Hope y'all are enjoy the pictures and the website so far.
