Stormy Weather Hummel/Disney Limited Edition Set

Well here they are... in a tribute of extra-ordinary quality the Magic of Disney is combined with the Beauty of the classic M.I. Hummel Motifs. Presented here is one of only a 1000 worldwide limited edition. It has a special exclusive "Goebel Celebrates 50 years of Disney Magic 1951-2001" commemorative backstamp.

The masterpiece comes with the original box and certificate, plus a nicely designed wooden base to showcase both of them. They stand approximately 4 3/4" tall.

We were fortunate enough to have this masterpiece signed by Master Painter Christina Goihl and have her picture taken while signing it also. Some people would say that the master painter signature is irrelevant, but to the devoted hummel collector.....a chance to have a hummel signed by a master painter or artist is not to be missed!

When we asked Christina Goihl about the value of the Disney/Hummel Sets, she said that they are quite valuable because Disney was irate that the Disney/Hummel set got out to the public when it was reserved exclusively for them. And with only a worldwide limited edition of only 1000 pieces, their value is significantly enhanced.
