This is the 1975 Anniversary Plate. Hummel 280 called Stormy Weather. It was the first edition of a series of plates issued at five year intervals. The inscription on the back applied by blue decal reads: "First edition M.I. Hummel Anniversary Plate 'Stormy Weather' 1975 hand painted." The original issue price was $100

This nice hummel measures 10 inches in diameter. And of course it is a Closed Edition. It has a TM5 and cost over $250.
